Zhentil Keep / Foreboding, 'cross the cloud-smeared skies, / its parapets like jagged teeth; / The sight of it gives pain to eyes - / its shadow stretches long beneath. / Impregnable, it stands secure / Portcullis, gate and bridge lie shut / eternal staving war's tenure / and deft deflecting battles' cut. / Each mason's block cannot be weighed. / The chiselled bricks are mortered tight. / The massive stones have rams dismayed; / between them fits not even light. / This castle keeps the edge of mind, / defines the space 'tween life and sleep. / Such pales compared to what would find / inside the walls of Zhentil Keep.
