NOVEMBER 14th, a saturday! Tabnet five year anniversary meet! bring: yourself, fond memories, bitter memories and appropriate weapons with which to do battle over grudges, stupid hats, and bus tickets. We will be at: Robson square at noon to one! (underneath robson square, where the ice rink is. if you've never been to a tabmeet before, look for an unruly crowd of youths. I will be a short girl with really long hair and a bowler hat on if that helps.) We will have a scavenger hunt! I will make the list. This year we'll have a special third team, Team Apathy, which will consist of everyone who says "having a scavenger hunt two years in a row is fucking lame!". Their job will be to follow around one of the other teams and give really bad advice. Prizes, as always, will consist of various binding and adhesive products from brooke's seemingly inexhaustible supply, and all the mini marshmallows you can eat. We will be at: 29th Avenue Skytrain Station from 6:30 - 7 (is that okay, or later, drongo?) to meet people who have been working! Why 29th avenue skytrain station? Well, why the hell not. I dunno what we'll do after, but like that's ever been a problem. Novel suggestions? Anyone? Please? We will be at: Benny's (this is a caf‚ on broadway in vancouver between larch and balsam street on the north side of the street.) at midnight. I know, I know, we're all getting sick of benny's, but it's dry and we all know where it is. People are welcome to stay the night at my house, but no more than can fit in my bed and on my tiny couch, by order of the fire marshal (I think 7+2 is the current theoretical limit, but..). If you stick around, you may be roped in to helping me carry Alan, the TJM computer, in to burnaby in the morning, after watching me take tjm down, on the flimsy excuse that physically moving around hosts is official tabnet business! SATURDAY NOVEMBER 14 NOON AT ROBSON SQUARE 6:30pm AT 29TH AVE STATION MIDNIGHT AT BENNY'S be there or be damn near cubical Tell your friends! Tell your mother! ask me if you need transit instructions! I delight in giving them!
